BLOOMING BATH

My boys' bathtubs were the hard plastic ones. You know, the ones that after the bath, you're trying to find where the heck you can put it. We've never been blessed with spacious bathrooms, so the baby bathtub was stored in the grownup bathtub. When we needed to take a bath or shower, the baby tub had to be moved to the toilet seat or sink. Picture the dramatic people in the infomercials, sighing and huffing so their bangs move from their breath. That was us. Well, that was me because Larry is bald.

The tubs didn't last long, because we really, really hated the inconvenience they created. We hand held our babes over the kitchen sink for bath time or they bathed with one of us.

If you have wee ones, you need to check out this baby bathtub that is soft, comfortable and will fit into any sink you have. It transitions to the family tub, where it will keep your baby's bottom where it should be and the best part is that when you're done, all you do is wring it out and throw it into the dryer. To store, fold over the the petals and it's ready to tuck away until the next bath. Blooming Bath comes in canary yellow or turquoise and they're on sale!

PS - No, this is not a paid advertisement. I just think it's an amazing product!

PRODUCT REVIEW

When I was asked to review a hand wash with sunscreen, I was curious but didn't know if I would really have an opinion on how I liked it. In most cases, my thought is "hand soap is hand soap." To my surprise, this hand soap impressed me the past two weeks. It is creamy, moisturizing to my winter chapped hands, smells wonderful and has SPF 15.
Putting sunscreen on the wee ones is a must in the summer, but to be honest, in the winter it is usually an after thought, unless we are heading to snow. I've loved the hand wash so much, I've been using it to wash the wee ones. I can't wait to try the body wash!
Solise has made it so convenient to have sun protection without smelling like sunscreen or being sticky and greasy, especially if you have wee ones who throw a fit when sunscreen is ever applied. It's easy-peasy now and I love that!

PRODUCT REVIEW

I was asked to do a review on some items from the Harry Potter line at buycostumes.com and can I just tell you the fun the wee ones have been having!
I chose a child's Gryffindor robe, Harry Potter wand, Harry Potter glasses and a lantern. There have been spells cast all over our house and all the items are holding up to 3 and 5 year old play very well. Truthfully, I have only positive things to say about what we received and buycostumes.com.
The top 5 fav's about the items/process:
1. Customer Service was amazing. There was a slight mix-up with one of the items, it was fixed immediately and I received the proper item within days.
2. They told me I could keep the mix-up item too. If anyone needs to borrow an adult petticoat, you know where you can borrow one from.
3. The robe has an adorable clasp and hood.
4. The lantern lights up and the wee ones are already making plans to have it next time we do indoor camping.
5. The wand is a good weight and not flimsy. We have had wands in the past that are bent within the first 30 minutes. We have had all the items for about a week and they are holding up superbly.
