WE HAVE A CUSTOM THAT WE

write letters to Santa and then put them in the fireplace to burn. The smoke delivers the letters to Santa in the North Pole.
Today was wish list writing and someone likes to use his body as a canvas of art. He isn't pouting, he's showing me his lips. I'll give you a hint of who it is - his name starts with "L".....
Most of these aren't going to happen. That's why they call them wish lists....

I WAS BURNING THE MIDNIGHT

oil with my sister last night working on a screen printing project for a co-worker of hers.
Remember this class I took? She took it too and loved it, as I knew she would.
If you want to take a fun class that is inspiring, contact Andy - you'll be so glad you did!
Steph is an uber talented artist and drew this amazing graphic for the project....

We drank Sobe Life Water. Yummy Pomegranate is my fav....

And we screen printed onto a scarf that Steph is making...

We loved the scarf so much we made one for us too....

WE HAD A CHRISTMAS PARTY AT

church and we had the kindest, nicest, double 'stache Santa in town...
and when Landon saw him said, "that is SO not the real Santa".
Hmmm, think the double moustache was a give away?
He was a little disappointed our party had a Santa Helper instead of the real deal, but once he got the candy cane he was just fine with the helper.

MY WEE ONES ARE NOT THE

most reverent at church and so when I saw this craft here, I was inspired to make one in the hopes that for the first hour at church my wee ones would be content enough to let me listen to the speakers.... I found our Toy Story DVD so I could make a pattern of Mr. Potato Head...

I cut the pieces with care...

I attached Velcro and decided to sew them on before I made the pieces to make them extra secure...

But all I got was knots of thread and gummed up needles....

I made a pocket on the back to hold all the pieces....

And he looks like a kindergarten sewing project! SERIOUSLY UGLY!
Lach made me feel better because he giggled with excitement (or was he laughing at the sewing job?)
We'll see if this helps the quite factor on our end of the church pew.
Actually, I can see it now. Instead of the wee ones quietly playing with this, they will be throwing the pieces at each other. Uggg.....

CATCHY CHRISTMAS SONGS ARE

everywhere and this one was mentioned today and it's stuck in my head...
Thanks Erica. I'm not complaining, Wham rules!

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS WERE HUNG

outside....
The small bloke in the window may have been put in timeout for wandering into the neighbors yard, finding a paint roller with wet paint and painting the neighbor's brick wall chimney.
Maybe the paint luckily came off easily with warm water and a scrub brush.
Maybe he won't have to watch the lights being put up from his bedroom window next year.
Maybe....

I'M A BIG OL' LOSER

at most games but it came in handy last night.....
I was a sub at a Bunco Night and I had the "Most Losses" and so I got a prize - a cute Christmas decoration, gingerbread milkshake spoons and gingerbread hand soap.
Yay me...

FATHER CHRISTMAS,

if you have one of these, I'd love for you to leave it under my tree....

I'm not getting any younger and I've always wanted to learn....

MR. JACK FROST, YOU'RE

not only nipping at my nose, I'm just plain freezing.... If I looked cute in hats, I think this hat would help keep me warm.
But since I don't, I thought one of you would like to take a looksee....

TWO PHOTO SHOOTS, EYES CLOSED,

feet cut off, crying children, freezing weather, complaining and we finally have a Christmas photo.
No, it's not this one. My eyes were closed so I cropped off our heads so you could see my sweet wee ones...

Christmas photos taken by my talented sis, Steph

Second photo shoot was fun and we breezed through it laughing even though we were still freezing.
It's been 3 years since we've sent out a Christmas card and I just might need your addresses.

SNEAK PEEK - BEDROOM 2

I found this baby at Goodwill for 24.99 and thought it would be a great night stand between the wee one's beds.
I hadn't measured the space or the cabinet and when I got it home it was 5 inches too big.
We're still using it in the same bedroom as a tv stand and it holds the dvd player and game consoles perfectly...
Larry took it out to the shop and painted it black and put a piece of black granite on top. It looks amazing....
