WE LOVE HAVING HARDWOOD FLOORS

but we are having the worst luck with scratches, especially around our table - even though we have felt pads on the bottom of our chairs.
Older homes have interesting size rooms and I have been having a difficult time finding one to fit the table size as well as the room size...
I purchased this carpet at IKEA.
Not exactly what I was looking for, but I think it will do the job of helping preserving our floors nicely, for now...
