A MIDNIGHT SISTER DATE

Stephanie flew in late last night.  Our parents were going to pick her up, but we decided that a midnight airport pickup would be way more fun if it was a surprise sister date.  She is only here for the weekend, so we have to get all the time we can with her.

Erica and I arrived with signs and a lei.  Sarah couldn't make it so we put her head on a stick, so she could still participate.  We provided a lot of giggles and smiles at the airport.  It's not everyday you see a smiling head on a stick.

I know this photo is horrible, but it's the only one we have of us all together.

Since we couldn't celebrate her birthday with her earlier this month, we took Stephanie to Voodoo Donuts on the way home.  We got her favorite donut and brought a candle along for her to make a wish.

It was such a fun surprise!

ARE YOU THE MOTHER?

We had a sister date today. It was so much fun!  Since Stephanie is in Hawaii, of course she couldn't come, but we wanted to have her included, so we put her on a stick and brought her along.

We had a delicious lunch and got pedicures.

And I got asked, not once but TWICE, if I was Erica and Sarah's mother.  I was so sad.  TWICE!?!
I drowned my sorrows with some delicious sorbet and then cried on my brother's shoulder.
Other than the whole mother incident, I had a wonderful afternoon with my long legged, beautiful daughters, I mean sisters.
