MIRIAM IS IN TOWN VISITING STEPH

so we took them floating.

We had perfect weather and so much fun!  We're not ready for summer to come to an end.

WE WENT BACK TO THE RIVER

to float - this time we remembered to put on our sunscreen!  My sister, Stephanie, and my brother, Ivon, came with us.
Ivon brought his Oru Kayak for it's maiden voyage.
We found loads of agates and had a wonderful afternoon appreciating nature with our family.

We took a different route and had a few adventures.  Nothing like adventures to keep you on your toes!
It was SO much fun!

THIS AFTERNOON WE WENT FLOATING

down the Santiam River for a few hours.  We had SUCH a great time!

In all the time we've lived here, this was a first for us.  We kept looking at each other, saying "Why have we never done this?!"  Boy have we been missing out!
We have huge smiles on our sunburned faces.  We had a BLAST!

SWIMMING PARTY

The older boys were out for the evening having teenager fun.  Our parent's ward was having a swim party and they invited us to bring the wee ones.

The lovebirds on the left are celebrating their 47th wedding anniversary on Tuesday.
The lovebirds on the right just celebrated their 45th.
Our parents rock and I'm so glad they are best friends!

It was a fun summer evening and a super fun ward activity.  Hopefully we'll get an invite next year! (hint, hint)

FIRST ANNUAL YOUNG CLAN CAMPING TRIP - PART 2

It was a foggy day and a bit chilly, but that didn't stop our clan from enjoying the lake and the sand dunes.
