WE WENT TO VISIT OUR BOY AT

his first job - Bud's Spuds at the Oregon State Fair.

The fair - neon lights and delicious, greasy morsels at it's best.

MIRIAM IS IN TOWN VISITING STEPH

so we took them floating.

We had perfect weather and so much fun!  We're not ready for summer to come to an end.

SHE WAS GOING TO BE A NUN AND HE WAS AN LDS NAVY MAN

They met one weekend in California and the rest is history. 

These lovebirds are celebrating 48 happy years!

WE WENT BACK TO THE RIVER

to float - this time we remembered to put on our sunscreen!  My sister, Stephanie, and my brother, Ivon, came with us.
Ivon brought his Oru Kayak for it's maiden voyage.
We found loads of agates and had a wonderful afternoon appreciating nature with our family.

We took a different route and had a few adventures.  Nothing like adventures to keep you on your toes!
It was SO much fun!
