W
e don't see this name very often so when I saw it on Highway 101, I just had to take the picture.

We had a beautiful clear sky. It would have been a perfect day for skydiving...

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN

your little brother gets ahold of your baby....

They turn into monsters....

No really, they do........

TODAY WAS THE BIG DAY

for my pre-op tests....

As soon as I arrived I had my shrink appointment, ummm I mean my Social Work Consultation...

Then I was off to get my 3D Spiral CT Scan...

With an already full bladder, I had to drink 20 more ounces of water and hold it...

The tech told me that when the dye is injected I will get a metalic taste in my mouth, it will get warm and it will feel like I was peeing myself. Well, she was right!
With a full bladder and the sensation that you are peeing yourself, it's a little freaky!

I SO did not want to pee myself today....

I go out to the waiting room to find my "support" sleeping on the job....

Next I had a KUB X-ray and chest X-rays and thankfully I was able to pee...

Yup, they are sleeping on the job again....

An EKG was next on the list...

You guessed it....

More blood and urine samples then my fasting was over and we went to the cafeteria to get lunch....

I left the table for just a sec and the sleepy heads were out again....

Last stop was a complete physical and TB test....

I need to get my "support" some caffeine for the ride home...

We were so excited that all my tests were done, I only have my TB test to report....

We're ready to go home but OHSU is huge folks and the car was lost....

Luckily Mary was able to find it, phew!

Den is doing a happy dance, we find out our surgery date in about a week!

Little did we know that when I got home I would receive a phone call from the hospital informing me that I was let go from the physical too early and have to come back.

Hopefully this doesn't mean it will take longer to get our date scheduled. W
e'll keep you posted....

REMEMBER WHEN I TOLD

you that the people in Forks were super nice...

and that the autoparts manager, Chris Lucas, at Ace Hardware changed my windshield wipers in the pooring down rain?

Here is proof of the niceness. Steph snapped this shot while Chris was working on the blades. I stood out there with him because I figured it wouldn't be fair for me to be nice and dry while he was being a good samaritan.

I'm a fan of Forks...

ON THE TWILIGHT

trip, Lach wouldn't smile for my camera....

But when Stephanie wanted to take his picture he would smile for her. She emailed me these two photos. He's such a teaser!

FOR THIS

Ruby Tuesday, I have a Twilight post...

One of the local stores in Forks was selling a Bonfire Starter Kit. I loved it!

If you would like to participate in Ruby Tuesday, post a picture of anything red. A little or a lot and click here.

ON OUR WAY

to Port Angeles, we passed Lake Crescent. It is GORGEOUS...

I'd love to go up there and spend a week....

I HAVE MY

own motorcycle!

I found one in town that I like but it needed to be fixed and it wasn't the seller's top priority, SO Larry found this one in Spokane.

This weekend Larry and my father (with mom and Landon along for the ride) drove up to Spokane and Larry got it for me.

I've been riding it today and it fits me like a glove. I LOVE IT!!!

I FORGOT TO

to post the meadow pictures...

Here is the official meadow...
Steph and I saw this area and thought it would be perfect for baseball - can't you see James busting out of these trees?!

STEPH AND I

had the BEST time in Forks, Washington...

Everyone was SO nice and friendly...

There are "Twilighters" everywhere, you recognize them because they are taking their pictures under signs and around town...

The local establishments EMBRACE this phenomenon...

Here is the HOSPITAL that treats Bella and where Carlisle works...

Here is where the CULLEN's live...

City Hall and POLICE STATION where Charlie is Chief of Police..

Bella's TRUCK...

Bella and Charlie's HOUSE...

Fork's Outfitters, where Bella worked...

And by the way, they are SO nice there.

The auto parts manager put new windshield wipers on my van after they broke. It was pouring down rain and I didn't even have to ask him too...

The front of Fork's HIGH SCHOOL....

In Port Angeles -the movie theater, the shop where Bella's prom dress was purchased and the book store...

Bella Italia. We wanted to eat there but they don't open until 4pm. So sad....

At SULLEY'S BURGERS back in Forks, they have a Bella Burger...

Steph and I decided this was the driftwood where Jacob told Bella about the Cullen's. One of my gazillion shots of FIRST BEACH, and Jacob's house...

On our way out of LA PUSH we were looking for werewolves. The reservation doesn't have cell service - no wonder Alice can't see Bella when she's there! We spotted some dinner for Edward...

I am a CULLEN PET....

And I have my very own VAMPIRES too....

STEPH AND I ARE

We were up late last night and made some t-shirts (thanks to Steph!) for our trip...

A sister's weekend, with Lach the Stowaway ofcourse...

Can you guess where we are headed?

Forks. As in Forks, Washington (click here). That's right - home of Twilight.

Check back in a couple of days and I'll have pictures ofcourse....
