This fair is three weekends long and each weekend is a different theme. This weekend was pirates and the fair was incredible and so much fun. My man clan enjoyed archery and throwing knifes and stars. We watched amazing equestrian acts that even included jousting!
There was music, dancing, a maypole and food galore. One of the best parts of the fair was there were so many performers walking around interacting with the crowd. Everyone was having such a great time.
On of my man clan's favorite spots was the sassafras booth where you could have your choice of birch rootbeer, honey rootbeer or cream soda, on tap.
We saw a copper dragon in the making.
This cute iguana is sixteen years old and the Pickle Wench was always nearby selling ice cold, crunchy pickles, which are quite delicious!
There was so much to do at this festival, we didn't get to it all. We will definitely be visiting that fair again.
But the highlight of the fair, was meeting my cousin, Zinger of Zinger's Royal Magick.

Looks like a blast!!!
We had so much fun. I will be taking by blue drinking bottle back next year and pay refill prices.
So fun! I love the kitty wearing the pirate hat on the shoulder of its owner. Adorable. I don't think my kitty's would put up with that for ONE second!
I was so happy to see your pictures. I am often so busy working during the faire that I don't get to see what goes on with any where else other than my own small corner. It is only through the gracious sharing of bloggers like yourself that I see the impact that MY fun of dressing up and spending a weekend camping and pretending to be someone else brings to others.
Thank you - and I hope to see you, your family and readers among us in our tiny little pocket of 16th century England in Bonney Lake WA soon.
Looks like an amazing time! What a fun thing to see and to participate in!
I love these kinds of festivals!
