I ignored all the chores and tasks waiting to be done and played with the wee-est. We made "da toolest fortress in da whole wuld."
It could have, and should have, been a more productive day, but I wasn't in the mood. I was in the mood to play on the floor.

The kids won't remember a clean house, but they will remember mornings like this with their mom! You're a wonderful mother, I love you ;)
Playing on the floor is so much more important than chores! :-)
Jealous! That looks like so much fun!!
That is a productive day...very productive...did you make that castle...please say "NO"! It is awesome!
Sherri, I did. BUT, it is a kit with directions. :-)
I LOVE this post. I'm with your mom -- sometimes I have to remind myself of what an older wiser friend once told me, that she wish she had cleaned less and played more when her kids were little. Lach's a lucky kiddo. I miss you, Laura!
Lach and Amy would get along perfectly. Hmmm, maybe they will get married someday. They can build blocks together forever...lol. LOVE the pictures!!!
