LILY'S DIARY
I have an announcement to make. I have five babies!
Remember when I rescued the baby squirrels but then they were taken away? One of the saddest days of my life! Well, these babies are staying and I'm SO excited!
They arrived two weeks ago and were so tiny. Because of their size and age, they are living in our garage.
We take them outside on sunny days so they can explore.
They are growing quickly, but I still take really good care of them.
Although I'm not a herding dog, I have that instinct and I herd them - LIKE A BOSS!
The chicks are starting to stretch their wings, so Operation Build A Coop STAT has been made a top priority.
Look at those faces! My babies are getting the cutest tail feathers.
Some are getting their body feathers and are in a phase only a mother can love. And I do. I love them.
My wee-est guardians are making all sorts of plans. They are talking about getting a cow, a horse and an elephant! I'm not sure what to think about that yet. We're going to have to have a talk.

LILY'S DIARY
I turned one on Sunday. I feel older though, I feel like I'm seven.
To celebrate, my parents had a family birthday party for me this weekend. My mom is still afraid of dogs, but she likes my friend, Bella, so she was invited. Bella doesn't bark at her and is very sweet to everyone. I have a lot to learn from Ms. Bella, she's going to teach me to be a classy pup vs spazzy pup.
Doggie Floats (a.k.a. Rootbeer Floats)
Vanilla Cupcakes
Rice Krispie Bones
Sugar Cookie Bones
Rice Krispie Kibble
And just for the dogs, goodie bags with treats from the Petco Doggie Buffet.

LILY'S DIARY
What do I love about camping? Everything!
Getting really dirty.
Going on long adventurous walks, playing with my brothers and seeing the amazing Eastern Oregon sights.

But my favorite thing about our trip, actually any trip, was feeling the wind in my face.
