email today! My newly found Stock cousins had a picture of my third great grandma. I am so excited to know what she looked like!

Meet my third great grandmother -
Jane Adams Stock. Daughter of Poyntz Adams and Mary Stain.

She was born in England, married my 3GGF, John Stock, in South Africa, came across the plains with a handcart company and died in Fish Haven, Idaho in 1865.

Besides visiting her home in Fish Haven, I had the privilege of visiting her grave site.

This picture puts the biggest smile on my face!

Her birthday was Monday but she got to celebrate with us today. Nothing like spreading your glorious, wonderful birthday wishes out for a week...

We've known each other for ages and it's such a treat when we all get together, usually to celebrate birthdays.

We talk and laugh and catch up and eat ourselves silly...

IN HONOR OF LACH'S

birthday, Derek recreated the event for our viewing pleasure...

LACH WAS SO EXCITED

that his birthday celebration continued on...

We went to the park for dinner...

and had a good time together as a family...

We ate...
and ate...

Laughed...

Ate cake...

Played...

Jumped...

And of course, longboarded...

It was a fun family dinner.

TODAY WE HAD A PARTY

in the park for Lach.
He is one year old tomorrow.


We had balloons, pizza, frog eye salad (one of my favorites), tortellini salad
and birthday cake!
A three layer fun-fetti cake with seven minute icing. Yummmm!!!

We had a Lach Photo Booth. He didn't give a rip about it but we did it anyway...

Lach didn't make too much of a mess with his birthday cake. It was a trial run for his birthday cake tomorrow!
We were serenaded, with song and dance, by Brad with a helium rendition of the Lollipop song from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...

Last but not least, Lach opened his presents with help from his big brother...

It was a fun morning celebrating with our little man. Happy birthday Lach!!
