lots of food, chitty-chat, laughter and fun, makes for one awesome Thanksgiving.

Grandma Joan had a fun activity for the kids. They made their own ice cream in baggies and were able to ate it with their pumpkin pie - super fun.

The pups ran around in circles, we lounged, the boys played and we all left with the fullest of bellies. But isn't that what's supposed to happen on Thanksgiving?
PS - I tried fake meat for the first time, courtesy of my mother-in-law. It was yummy.

Love the make it yourself ice cream idea...brilliant!
Looks like fun! I'll have to let my kids make their dessert in a bag next year.
Sounds fun and what a great group!
