I'VE BEEN GETTING MY CRAFT ON

When I saw the Ryan Innes t-shirts, I was inspired. I knew I had to put Larry's face on a shirt for his birthday.
I sent a photo of Larry's face to my sister and she whipped up an image for me.  I pulled out my fancy schmancy screen printing supplies and went to work last night.

Seriously, can you believe how high tech I am?  Hahaha!

I made one for the man clan and me.  Although Larry's birthday isn't until Thursday, we're celebrating with the family this weekend.  Our little clan are going to be sporting these beauties of the birthday boy.

I'm loving how they turned out.  It was a fun surprise for Larry to wake up to!

14 DAYS OF LOVE - DAY 5

It's pom pom central in our lair.

Hot red pom poms are hanging from our ceiling and we have a few pom pom garlands hanging around.  These imperfect yarn puffs are absolutely delightful.

Look at this wool bag she made me for Christmas. She is a knitter with mad skills.
I'm so happy to be the lucky recipient of this bag. I love it!

MY MOM GAVE US A FUN GIFT

Pillowcases with Mr. Right and Mrs. Always Right embroidered on them.What makes these pillowcases even more awesome is that she HAND EMBROIDERED the lettering. Isn't she so good?! She loves handwork and is so good at it.

This wood is American Chestnut from the Whitmer Farm and is over 200 years old.

PORTABLE TENTS

were one of the presents my parents made the wee ones for Christmas this year.
Made of PVC pipe and canvas they are easy to set up anywhere, easy to store, fit on their beds and the boys are having a blast with them.

I'm seeing some indoor camping adventures in our future...

HANDCRAFTED PENS

are definitely an art and it is a talent my father possesses, as well as my Uncle Frank.
The pens my father make are beautiful.
I commissioned three pens for Christmas gifts this year.
The one on the left is Tulipwood, the center pen is Honduras Rosewood and the pen on the right is Hill Cumorah Walnut.
Handcrafted custom pens - it's a good thing.

HANDMADE WITH LOVE

My mother made me a Christmas tree skirt. It's a beautiful white tone on tone, lined with silky fabric and embellished with sparkling sequins.It's gorgeous and makes me smile. Thanks madre!
