That will be super fun. I have been there but when I was a little kid. Mike and I talk all the time about taking a camping trip with the kids to the Redwoods. If we can't pull of our Nauvoo trip we were talking about the Redwoods instead...
It's beautiful!!!! To really appreciate it you need to park and walk amongst the trees. Go where there aren't other people to get the feel. We did this with Steve and Derek when we went and stayed at Crescent City. They have a beautiful sea scape, lots of huge rocks in the water!
Be prepared for a spiritual experience. Truly awe-inspiring in the full sense of those words. Oh, and depending on which part you're going to be sure to check out the huge elk in a meadow at the north end (sorry can't remember specific names of places). Oh, and if you go along the Smith River into Crescent City, I hope none of you gets car sick too easily!
My camera is my constant companion and most of my life is an open book. This blog is a little of this and a little of that, but mostly things that make me happy, our humble lair and the people I love.

Don't get lost.
Laura...so good to see your blog again and all the things you are doing. I've never been there, but would love to go....let me know all about it.
DO have FUN, DON"T forget your camera :) I was there when I was 8 and LOVED it!
Go early. It does get dark early and the trees make it get dark even earlier.
