FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE WITH

Buttermilk Syrup, chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, sausage, milk and juice with friends is how our morning started.... Then the games began.
Wii, RockBand, trains and football...

Baked French Toast Casserole

1 loaf of French Bread, cut into 1 inch slices
8 eggs
2 cups half and half
1 cup milk
2 TBSP sugar
dash of salt
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Place slices of bread into a greased 9x13. The bread will be overlapping.
In a large bowl, combine eggs with all other ingredients and mix well.
Pour the custard mixture over bread - making sure all the bread is coated.
Cover and refrigerate over night.

In the morning, preheat oven to 350.

In a bowl mix together:
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup almond slices
2 TBSP corn syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Spread over refrigerated bread. Bake for 40-45 minutes and enjoy!
It's delicious if you serve it with Buttermilk Syrup.

Easy and delicious. I'm going to be making this for Christmas morning....
