This looks very European ~ cool vacuum!
We have pergo....close enough to hardwood when it comes to cleaning. We just sweep and swiffer our little hearts out. It can sometimes be a lot of work to keep them looking great...since every speck of dirt shows, but I love them.
I had a floor sweeper, its battery powered with a charger and can be used on wood floors... I loved it until it died! You totally need one of those. You would never live without it again. I found mine at Costco for around $30.
