I LOVE FLASH MOBS!

You know me well if you know I have quite the list written down to accomplish before I die. Being part of a flash mob is one of them.
I love this one with Julie Andrews - The Sound of Music at Central Station in Antwerp.
What is there not to love about a flash mob? Surprised faces, fun energy and at the end they all go on as if nothing had just happened.  I LOVE IT!

GLOW IN THE DARK DRIVEWAY

When I saw this post on A Cup of Joe, my heart went pitter-patter.  Can I even tell you how much I want this done to our driveway?  Glow stones in gravel is my new favorite thing.

WHOEVER INVENTED THE CLAW

is a genius. We winterized our yard this weekend and I borrowed the claw from our neighbor. Best invention ever for the garden. We tackled our weeds at warp speed and my flower beds have nice loose soil. It is officially on my Christmas wish list.

WANTED

by my man clan for their bullfrog hunting expeditions - a light canoe or small boat.
I'm swooning over this Sassafras Fyne canoe.

And how cool is this transparent canoe?

Realistically, they need something light and inexpensive. Do you have a recommendation?

FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS MY

hand mixer has been broke and this is how I use it - with one beater. In my dreams, I have a fairy godmother named Martha Stewart and she gave me this beauty.

While some people want a fairy godmother for a rockin' man, I want a rockin' kitchen. While I wait for my dream to come true, I use my white trash mixer. It makes me laugh while it takes me longer but it does the job. This morning I made this delicious vegan banana chocolate chip bread.

1 3/4 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 large bananas, mashed
1/3 cup Earth Balance buttery sticks
2 TBSP almond milk
Ener-G egg substitute for 2 eggs
1/2 cup semi sweet dairy free chocolate chips

In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, the sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add mashed banana, butter and milk. Beat on low until blended then on high for 2 minutes. Add egg replacement and remaining flour. Beat until blended then add chocolate chips.

Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 55 minutes or until done.
Original recipe is from Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book.

PAC MAN COOKIE CUTTERS

Seriously, how cool are these cookie cutters?!They are 12 British pounds and I thought, "yikes, but they are too cool to pass up!" BUT THEN the shipping is 15 British pounds. Ugggg!!
$42.71 for cookie cutters - too rich for my budget. Dang! What a bubble popper.

DEAR SANTA

I've been thinking about what I want for Christmas and at the top of my list is SLEEP.
I want to sleep until noon. Uninterrupted sleep. Quiet sleep. I can't remember the last time I've awakened at noon and it sounds glorious!
