I was bummed that animals no longer live there and that the ocean is dying, but it is a remarkable place that is being used for a lot of research. It amazes me that it holds the earth's biomes of desert, ocean, rainforest, savanna and marsh. Hopefully one day the Biosphere 2 will be brought back to it's full potential.

I was disappointed that this facility isn't being used as it was intended. I know research is important, but why can't they do both?

I am amazed that I haven't seen one of your amazing sights..and I lived there most my life!
We took a guided tour. Our tour guide was awesome, but was a little winded. Our tour was twice as long as it should have. We got passed up by a later starting group :-) Lach got bored along the way but he did okay. If they still had animals, he would have been in heaven.
