...just passing through from Longview, Texas and happened upon your blog! I love your entries! My husband and I particularly enjoyed the 'I tried' sticked because we can relate...my iron is usually low and he just never can seem to make it to the blood drives in time... I also appreciate your toddlers interests - we have a 7 month old and she already stares at us with each bite we take like she is a starving child...good to know we will soon be sharing everything :)
I like that they have developed a "I Tried" sticker. Wish they had that one when I got turned down a few years ago. I am not even eligible to retry. I'm on the "no give" list because I show a false positive for one of the hepetitis (can't remember if it was A B or C). That cost me almost $300 to find out from my Dr that I don't have hepetitis... Like I always say - no good deed goes unpunished! :-) Love ya, C.

Brent said he saw you yesterday, and that you'd been "denied!". At least you tried - I'm always afraid because I know at some point in the giving or right after, I'm going to faint. Yes, it's happened four times. That's too many for me - no more!
The vampires love Brent's blood - it's O+. He always gets calls to donate when the van is here!
My camera is my constant companion and most of my life is an open book. This blog is a little of this and a little of that, but mostly things that make me happy, our humble lair and the people I love.
