Things that make me happy are:1) Love fresh cut grass smell too...must run in the family. 2) Being inside sewing when it's raining hard outside and dark. 3)Going on trips and learning about other cultures.4) Buying fabric and going to different fabric stores. 5)Seeing beautiful quilts and hand work.6)Going to St.Vincent de Paul looking for books to add to my collection of authors I enjoy. 7)Finding new clothes at a great price on sale, shopping is a game and I like to win. 8)I love my crocks, they don't hurt my feet ;)))). 9)Sleeping in, I HATE having to wake up to an alarm clock. 10) ;-)
I have been loving these posts of hers. I've been thinking about what my 10 would be....it changes often, but for now...
1. fresh cut flowers

I am a grumpy old man and not happy often. However, the following list are things that make me happy
1 - Being with grandchildren
2 - See my daughters jump at the beach
3 - Traveling
4 - Eating out
5 - Kissing Nancy
6 - Having a young grandchild fall asleep in your arms.
7 - Teasing
8 - Taking drives in the countryside
9 - Shooting
10 - Family get togethers
I have been thinking about this since I read your post...and although my list could go much longer than just 10, I'll try to limit myself :-)
1. Watching my kids be successful at something
2. Spending time with Jay
3. Laughing
4. Hearing a really good song on the radio
5. Going on the Tower of Terror
6. When Elizabeth realizes she really loves Mr. Darcy
7. Chocolate chip cookie dough
8. Reading and relaxing at the pool
9. The smell of new leather
10. Learning something new
I love this post... I might copy this idea for my blog too. Here are some things that make me terribly happy...
-crossing things off my to-do list
-sharp crayons
-the smell of laundry that my mom washed
-my grandma's hands
-the voices my sisters and I use when we talk to each other
-feeling my heart literally swell up when I get emotional
-driving in the car with the window down and singing outloud
-looking at old family pictures
-playing "Would you rather..." and any board games
-remembering my first kiss with Spencer
