KATURAH VAUGHN VINCENT

is my third great-grandmother. She was born in Wales in 1829, immigrated to the United States in 1849 and arrived in Salt Lake City with a Mormon handcart pioneer company in 1852.
I love that five of her Alfred Meakin plates, that came across the plains with her, remain in our family. Aren't they gorgeous?

Oh my goodness those are so beautiful and let's talk about how it doesn't get much more sentimental than that.
