but we were having a craving after dinner...
He found a recipe for cookies that have no sugar! They're good but not very sweet, they kind of taste like snickerdoodles without the cinnamon sugar. They taste great with a glass of milk.....
Old German Honey Cookies
1/4 cup Splenda
1 cup butter
1 and 1/2 cup honey
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
4 cups flour
3/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
In a saucepan mix together Splenda, butter and honey. Let cool.
Mix together eggs, vanilla, baking soda and ginger. Gradually add to cooled honey mixture.
Slowly add 4 cups of flour to mixture. Stir until well blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350 degrees F 11 minutes or until golden.
Is this considered cheating on my two week no sugar challenge?.....

I always wondered how cookies tasted w/splenda and honey. I'll have to try this recipe.
No Sugar?!? AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!
You cna make yumm s/f cookies by using the receipe on the oatmeal package. Just use splenda regular & splenda brown sugar. Break up Hersheys s/f bars to make chips. Don't for get you can add raisins (they make it sweeter) and nuts too. Everyone loves them! I make them for Dennis and can't keep them in the house.
