to Urgent Care... A hockey stick jab to an eye ended up not being as bad as I originally thought. It ended up being "just" an eye abrasion. We'll take it - whew!
I'm sorry that happened but if it makes anyone feel any better the picture kind of made me laugh. For some reason that angle with the hospital bracelet is an image any mom of boys will see many times in her life. Glad he is okay.
I'd post a photo but his eye is looking pretty normal - he doesn't even have a shiner. The hockey stick had great accuracy and stayed right on the eyeball :-)
Mary, you're right! When I took the photo I was thinking, "I've seen this stance a lot and I know there will be many more..." Silly boys...
My camera is my constant companion and most of my life is an open book. This blog is a little of this and a little of that, but mostly things that make me happy, our humble lair and the people I love.

OH-NO so sorry.:(
Yes for me too. I want to see a macro, a nice closeup. :)
That doesn't sound pleasant at all! Glad it wasn't overly serious!!
Yikes! That must have been scary! Glad he's ok.
Thank goodness! I am glad he is okay!
Wow...I'm so glad that it wasn't any worse. I also think that you really ought to post pictures. :)
