nestled in Winterset City Park was one of my favorite spots on my awesome Iowa trip...

Poor thing, I think you're confused. You took a wrong turn and you were actually in Ireland! What an amazing park. That's in IOWA, are you kidding. Can't wait to see more.

What is the history of this tower and park? Did it see any battles? Or is it a pretend battle tower? The pictures are great. Just tell me that five yanks defended the city from the confederates over a four-month siege.
This looks like it should be in Europe!! How fun!!
