I love cupcakes too! In fact, that picture looks delicious! Anyway, I have tried those silicups and I gotta tell you, I hate them! The cupcake has a hard time coming out of it, even when it is sprayed with cooking spray.

It is a good thing they do not come in camouflage; you would not be able to find them when you needed them. :)

I gave up on using papers on muffins and cupcakes a long time ago! We like our muffins still warm, but the papers do not peel off well when they are warm. When I saw your note, I thought "AH HA, silicone is a great alternative" but if your friend hates them, I am not investing! They look really cute though!

What a bummer to hear they don't work very well....I've been thinking about trying them....now maybe I won't.
