and that the autoparts manager, Chris Lucas, at Ace Hardware changed my windshield wipers in the pooring down rain? Here is proof of the niceness. Steph snapped this shot while Chris was working on the blades. I stood out there with him because I figured it wouldn't be fair for me to be nice and dry while he was being a good samaritan.

That was SO nice. And, so nice of you to stand out there with him. I wonder if the guys at our Ace Hardware would do that??? Somehow - I don't think so!
Small town people are the best. One of the reasons I love Stayton so much.
