IT'S DAY FOUR

on the 6 week fitness challenge and I've found a snack that satisfies my cravings.....Pistachios! 1/4 cup for 170 calories and 6 grams of protein.
What is your favorite snack?

I looooove pistachios, but can't stop at 1/4 cup so I have to leave them out! :(

I have been munching on those as well...Chris brought some home for me from his trip.

My favorite snack is apple sauce and graham crackers.:)

Kim you nailed mine on the button! I love apples and PB too! Of course I have to eat more apples than PB! =)

I do love nuts...but they do have to be kept to small portions...but they stick with you so your cravings are reduced!

I am a fan of pistachios. Now if you are on the Atkins diet, you can eat more than 1/4 cup. :)

I love nuts, but I find it very hard to stick to the right portions. They are very good for you though, contain 'good fats' and everything. Especially (I'm not sure where I read this) if they weren't roasted beforehand.

I was reading and found this fun fact about Pistachios;
Per serving, pistachios have more antioxidants than green tea. That should make tea green with envy.
