VOULEX-VOUS AH-HA!

When I was a little girl, I used to take off the lamp shade of this lamp, which used to be my Aunt Rett's, and SING....

My singing favorite....ABBA ofcourse!

Tonight I went to the movie with the family.....

We saw Mamma Mia.....

I want to move to Greece with Larry and the boys and sing and dance......

And I want Colin Firth as my yummy neighbor....

Most of us LOVED the movie. I had a hard time sitting still. I wanted to stand up and dance in the back and sing along. I am definitely seeing it again...and soon!

Sami thought it was the dumbest movie she ever saw....

Joan loves Sam (Pierce Brosnan) and Nancy loves Harry (Colin Firth)....

Forget those guys, Jill loves Matthew McConaughey....

Sami loves Chris Farley...

After the show we were hanging out being DANCING QUEENS.....

LIKE AN ANT...

I went to BREYMAN FARMS, (yeah local farmers!) today and got 20 pounds of blueberries. (I digress, that's how much Lach weighs!)...

At Breyman Farms they don't spray their blueberries, have GREAT prices (and they pick them for you!) AND they are super nice. The berries are plumper than PLUMP and taste AWESOME.

I love storing for winter....

DINNER WITH THE LADIES

Tonight some ladies from my church got together for an impromptu GIRLS NIGHT OUT. We met at Applebee's and had a great dinner filled with laughter.

KRISTEN PISTEN

My best friend from my HIGH SCHOOL years in California is Kristen. We were roomies after school for a little while too. Over the years we lost touch, but we have found each other again! I'm so excited to have her back in my life.

She is doing great, looks exactly the same (I wish I did!) and has five beautiful children. And guess what? She's even a Twilight fan!!

She was Kristen Pisten and I was Laura Shmora. Need I say more? Here are a couple of pictures of our awesome two-some. Check out my BANGS!!

AHHHHH, FEBREZE

A friend of a friend told me about Mr. Clean with Febreze. She didn't just tell me about it, she RAVED about it.

I purchased some today in Meadows & Rain and I LOVE IT! I'm glad I listened to her!

It smells SO good....

Next time you are at the store, pick some up. You'll be glad you did!

SODA UPDATE

I'm doing well in the challenge I made to myself and I have not had a soda in any form for 16 days and only have 2 days left! Not that I'm counting.... I even passed up a rootbeet float, thank you very much. I was quite proud of myself.

Friday night I am going to be at Borders for the Breaking Dawn release party and guess what I am going to have in my hand. Yup, a DIET COKE!
I miss it.......

Stephanie sent me her favorite pictures from Comic Con with a little commentary too...Above - Robert Pattinson just because he's so cute. Below - There were 6500 screaming fans and he was trying to hide....

One of the questions was on the lines of "Would you like to do these roles again if the next book is made into a movie? Well except for you Cam because you die." It got them all laughing....

Hugh Jackman after he came out and surprised us.... GAMBIT is going to be in the next movie!!!!!!!!

I liked these both and couldn't decide between them!

Hmmmm, maybe I'll be going to Comic Con next year too.....

TV FAV'S

You already know that I just LOVE the television show Burn Notice; it is just so FREAKING COOL! Psych is hilarious and I laugh my butt off....

My other show I'm really digging right now is In Plain Sight....

WATER FOUNTAIN

We ate dinner at the park last night. Landon and his cousin Michael were having a blast playing in the water fountain, especially the lower fountain for dogs.

They are stinkin' hilarious!

Sarah and Stephanie had wonderful seats at the panel on Thursday and Sarah took some fantastic pictures of the Twilight cast and other stars.

I haven't seen Stephanie's pictures yet, but I know she has some good ones too.

She had such a great time seeing so many stars, she has already purchased tickets for her and Michael for Comic Con next year!

PEEING this weekend is going very smoothly, thank you ladies and gentlemen for the inquiries. The results from the tests on Friday and this weekend won't be available to us until after the 6th. We'll keep you posted....

TRANSFORMERS

When I was little, my FATHER would proclaim days as holidays and we were allowed to miss school. The first one that stands out in my mind is when Star Wars (yes folks, the first one - which is really the fourth one) came out.

I have carried on that tradition with our little family and I see another HOLIDAY in the future. My father sent me this picture from Comic Con and there is another Transformers movie coming out in 2009. My boys will be so happy.....

MARIONBERRY CRISP

Tonight I made Marionberry Crisp for dessert, from those same luscious berries Den and Mary brought by. HEAVEN!
It was so good, I almost licked my bowl!

BACK FROM CAMP!

Larry J is back from scout camp! We missed him SO MUCH! He was super dirty and couldn't wait to get into a nice, long, hot shower. He came out a new boy.....

Caked dirt on clothes and skin, sap, burns and blisters....he had a great time...and guess what? He missed us too!

Top 5 reasons why camp was so fun

CHOCOLATE ZUCCHINI BREAD

I made this recipe, that I received from a friend ages ago, for the first time tonight and it is REALLY good! You don't taste zucchini at all in it; I'm going to be able to TRICK some of my boys!

Super easy recipe:
Beat together 3 eggs, 2 cups sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, 1 cup olive oil and 2 cups grated zucchini.
Add 1/2 cups cocoa powder, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. salt, 2 3/4 cups of flour, 1/4 tsp. baking powder adn 1 tsp. cinnamon.
Blend together and pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for about an hour.

PEE & WALKING

Today I was able to complete more tests which consisted of fasting for buu-kuu blood work and a glucose test. On Sunday I have to complete a 24 hour urine collection to be turned in on Monday.

While I was at the hospital finishing up some blood tests, I got a text from Larry which read, "Guess who took 5 steps?"
